Our Story
Built by a team that was tired of carrying around thick wallets full of forgotten punch cards.
The idea for RetailCards was born out of frustration. As consumers, we loved the convenience of digital wallets, but realized they were exclusively used for credit cards and boarding passes. Why were we still carrying physical plastic cards for local coffee shops, gyms, and our favorite retail stores?
When we spoke to business owners, the answer was always the same: building a custom app is too expensive, and integrating directly with Google Wallet requires complex API knowledge and significant engineering resources.
So, we built RetailCards to do the heavy lifting. We abstracted away the complex cryptography, the API endpoints, and the design requirements. We created a platform where deploying a native digital wallet pass is as simple as creating an email campaign.
